Dwight Ridenour, DVM

Dr. Dwight Ridenour earned his Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the university of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, Florida in 1987. He owned and operated the Wayne Heights Animal Hospital in Waynesboro, PA for 11 year before leaving the area. After practicing in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland's eastern shore, he made the decision to return home.
Dr. Ridenour has been an animal lover since his childhood growing up in Hagerstown, MD. He enjoys travel, music, nature, photography, hiking and collecting sand, minerals and meteorites. He shares his home with a blue heeler mix named Gracie and three cats: Butch, Evil and Niko. Dr. Ridenour has been with the Animal Health Clinic since 2022.
